To our Witches:

After trying every incantation and much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 11th annual Witches Night Out in Joliet. The health and safety of our witches, mystics, artisans, volunteers, along with the reputation of Witches Night Out is our primary concern since the crystal ball is foggy on how this virus will be impacting our lives this Fall. We will be bringing you some great online witchy fun through our Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter and on our website so make sure you are followed on your favorite social media platforms to catch the latest information and fun!

We love the enchanted atmosphere of our witches coming together to raise funds for our Recipient Agencies. Support is more important than ever for our 2020 Recipient Agencies: CASA of River Valley, Guardian Angel Community Services, and Stepping Stones Treatment and Recovery Center.

It has been a difficult year for everyone, and our Recipient Agencies are no exception. Please consider making a donation equal to what you would have paid for admission. Please click HERE to make your donation today and THANK YOU!

We appreciate your love and support of our Recipient Agencies through our annual Witches Night Out event and thank you for your support and understanding. We wish you all good health and to see you in
2021!

Thank you,
The Witches of Witches Night Out

How Do I Play?

Register to play by completing the registration form and paying the game registration fee on the Witches Night Out website. Please ensure your email address is CURRENT and CORRECT when you register and add Witches Night Out joliet@witchesnightout.com and GooseChase noreply@goosechase.com to your trusted contacts. Can I Join After The Start Date?

Absolutely! Email invitations will be sent out throughout the course of the game to new registered players. Everyone who registers, even if they don’t download the app and play the game, will be eligible to win the first place door prize. There will be a Grand Prize winner and additional prizes throughout the game.

When Will The Game Run?

The Witches Night Out Scavenger Hunt will begin on October 1st 2020 at 8:00 AM CDT and will end on November 1st 2020 at 8:00 AM CST

What Types Of Missions Will Be In The Game?

We’ve created a wide range of missions to get the whole crew involved! From heartfelt to silly to random acts of kindness we’ve filled your entire month of October with witch-tastic activities! Explore the city of Joliet by solving clues and checking in on GPS when you find the right location. Take on a witchy challenge and upload a photo or video to prove just how much you love all things Halloween! Participate in a local fundraiser with one of our business partners to raise money for our amazing 2020 recipient agencies. We will also be adding surprise missions to keep you on your toes! It’s anyone’s game to win but missions will remain TOP SECRET until the game starts on October 1st 8:00 AM.

Can I Play As A Team?

The game is for individual players and each person must register and pay the registration fee to play. But many missions are best enjoyed with friends so encourage them to register. Don’t forget, the more money we raise the more we can give to our three recipient agencies. AND the more players in the game the better the prizes!

How Do I Win?

There are multiple ways to win prizes! Everyone who has a verified, paid registration through our webpage will be entered to win the first place door prize. For those who choose to play the scavenger hunt, each successfully completed mission will earn the player points. The overall point winner will be declared the Grand Prize winner (pending verification).  The more difficult the mission, the higher the point value. Creativity counts and we will give away prizes and bonus points to some of our favorite submissions. No cheating! We will be checking those submissions to make sure  they are original!

Who Will See My Submissions?

Your submissions will be visible to anyone playing the game, the administrators of GooseChase LLC and Events for a Cause LLC. Submissions deemed to violate the standards of GooseChase, LLC or Events for a Cause, LLC will be deleted. Submissions may be shared on social media platforms of Witches Night Out and our sponsors. Please be safe, obey all laws and current CDC mandates, and only submit content you are comfortable with others seeing. To opt of social media sharing of your submissions, send an email with “Scavenger OPT-OUT” in the subject line to Joliet@witchesnightout.com

Game play, contests and giveaway are subject to the complete rules which can be found here.

What Are The Prizes?

We will be awarding many prizes throughout the month so you have a chance to win no matter when you enter the game, but the early birds will cast a spell over the competition with extra time to complete missions and to get creative with their submissions!
